These are some of the common questions we often get asked about Eden Hope. If you have more questions, please contact us.

+ Where is Eden Hope?

Eden Hope is located on the west coast of Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu.

+ What religion or spiritual doctrine do you follow?

We follow no specific religious or spiritual doctrine and most of us have an eclectic background of various spiritual studies and understandings. Relating to each other in a space of loving kindness is the only rule.

+ Is Eden Hope an ashram?

The world is the ashram. We are all a part of it. Eden Hope is not an 'ashram' in the typical sense of the word, although you may find some similarities. We are a group of people dedicated to deepening our connection with the Self. We do not have any formal required spiritual practices, or a specific Guru.

+ Do I need a visa to stay?

Yes. For most countries, citizens are granted a 30 day tourist visa upon arrival, which can be extended up to 18 months.  Staying longer than this requires the submission and approval of a residency visa. Living at Eden Hope will enable you to fulfil the requirements for a long term residency visa.

+ How long can I stay?

If you wish to visit and experience Eden Hope we recommend first time visits of not shorter than three months. It takes time to adjust to this dimension of living and find that shorter stays are not as conducive to deeper understanding and healing. If everyone resonates well together, long term residency is possible. We are looking for individuals wanting to commit their being to this way of life.

+ Do I have to be a vegan?

We follow a mainly raw vegan diet but we also welcome fruitarians, breatharians and those exploring pranic nutrition. Our core value of ‘causing no harm’ means that we do not consume animal flesh or animal products of any kind and expect all visitors to do the same.

+ How do I get to Eden Hope?

Once invited, getting here is an adventure in itself! Upon arrival to the island of Espiritu Santo one of our Eden Hope members will pick you up at the airport and assist you as needed. There is a two to three hour truck ride to the west coast. From here, you'll take a two to four hour boat ride to our closest neighbouring village. The final leg of the journey is a 45-minute UTV ride through the rainforest of Eden Hope.

+ I’d like to visit. How do I start the application process?

We look forward to getting to know you. Email us at edenhopefoundation@gmail.com or fill out the contact form here, tell us a little about yourself and why you want to stay. One of our friends will be in contact shortly.
